On January 19, 2012, Governor Rick Perry suspended his campaign for President of the United States. Rick Perry was and is still the right man to serve this country and as he returns to Texas to continue to serve the people of that great state as their Governor, his teams of supporters and voters will continue to support those important conservative principles and issues he espoused.
We are still burdened with great sadness for losing Governor Perry as our choice of POTUS but support him in his decision to suspend and pray for him, his family and for his future endeavors for this county and its people. He is a true patriot, a true visionary, and a true American hero. God raised him for a purpose in service both to Texas and to us as citizens. Though the ignorance of the public to true leadership, qualifications, his proven record and the continual bashing of the MSM caused the best candidate for President great harm, God will bless him continually with great success both in his office as Governor of Texas and in his future endeavors.
We are reminded that our greatest presidents, Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln also passed through the fire of political ignorance, bigotry, and hatred, but they, by God’s help and providence, rose to greatness and wonderful service to this country and Governor Rick Perry will do likewise. The history of this great man is still being written and we are blessed and the better for it as people that he has served us so well. We thank you Governor Perry. You will always be in our hearts as you have taken a part of them with you and you will always have our prayers and support both now and in the future.

Thursday was a very sad day. There were a lot of tears shed at our house as we watched Governor Perry make his announcement. But we move forward knowing we supported a godly man with a sound record. Thank you for all your hard work and your great blog posts.
